THE STANDARD BEGINS AT $22,500
Your final planning fee is based on your planning timeline, wedding location, staffing needs, and wedding-weekend scope. For a more tailored estimate, play with the numbers.
THINK WE'D BE A GOOD FIT?
WHAT ADDITIONAL FEES MAY APPLY?
- Travel: New Jersey within 60 driving miles of Jersey City - included; Extended New Jersey - $500; New York City / Five Boroughs - $600; Hudson Valley + Westchester - $750; travel outside these areas quoted at a flat rate
- Additional event staff: $1,000 per person, per event
- Extended planning: $600 per month beyond 16 months
- Additional wedding-weekend events: Priced based on scope
HOW QUICKLY DO WE GET STARTED?
Immediately! Once your contract is signed and retainer is paid, we’ll send your onboarding materials, Personalized Planning Profile and Spending Strategy, then schedule your kickoff call. From there, we’ll build your planning portal and roadmap and get to work!
WILL WE WORK WITH THE SAME PLANNER THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS?
Yes. You’ll have a dedicated lead planner from kickoff through your wedding weekend. You may also hear directly from other members of the Well-Dressed Events team as they support specific parts of the planning process, but your lead planner remains your primary point of contact throughout.
HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE, AND HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?
You’ll have direct access to your planner through email and Voxer voice and text messages, along with strategy calls throughout planning. We schedule calls around the decisions and work in front of us rather than putting meetings on the calendar just to say we had one.
Your planning portal will also keep your current priorities, upcoming decisions, and resources in one place.
WHO HANDLES VENDOR OUTREACH AND BOOKING?
We do the initial legwork. We curate the options, confirm availability, gather the information, and schedule consultations.
We’ll attend vendor consultations, review proposals and contracts, help decode packages, and give you an honest recommendation when it is time to make the final decision. You will sign contracts and pay vendors directly. Once they’re booked, we stay involved and keep you looped in without making you manage every conversation yourself.
DO YOU NEGOTIATE VENDOR PRICING?
We don’t pressure vendors to discount their work. We do review proposals closely, help you understand what is included, flag what your wedding may not need, and identify when an upgrade might be worth it.
WHAT DOES THE ADDITIONAL WEDDING-WEEK EVENT INCLUDE?
The Standard includes full event-day coverage for your wedding day and one additional wedding-week event, such as a welcome party, rehearsal dinner, farewell brunch, or intimate ceremony.
Coverage is based on the actual scope of the event rather than a preset number of hours. Any additional staffing or production needs will be outlined before anything is added.
WHAT HAPPENS IF OUR TIMELINE, GUEST COUNT, OR SCOPE CHANGES?
Plans change. We expect that.
We’ll update the roadmap, budget, and logistics as your wedding evolves. If a significant change affects staffing, travel, the planning timeline, or the number of events we’re managing, we’ll explain the impact and any related fee before moving forward.
