Hi, We're Nicole and Kristen.
We're also the owners and lead planners of Well-Dressed Events, New Jersey's
premier style-centric wedding, party and event planning company. We specialize in
high-end, unique events for modern, bold, standout clients and we pride ourselves
on cutting-edge, creative design, styling and event management.
We met in 2012 at a PR agency in the fashion and beauty department (hence the name, Well-Dressed Events!). We learned a lot working in PR (mostly that we hated PR), but also that we loved planning media events for our clients.
With our new found love of event planning, we both began our journey through various roles at well-known companies in New York and New Jersey like Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Toys”R”Us and WeWork, but we always knew we wanted to start our own wedding and event planning business.
In 2016, WDE was born. Since that day we've helped countless clients in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania plan their dream weddings, parties and events...and now it's your turn!

And that's the way it should be! Whether it's a wedding, baby shower, mitzvah or milestone birthday party, you're bringing us in to help you plan and celebrate one of the most important moments in your life and you should feel excited about the planner you're working with. Past clients have described us as "knowledgeable, fun, positive, helpful, attentive and no bullsh*t." We think that sums us up perfectly.
We have extensive event planning experience and training.
We didn't wake up the morning after our own weddings and decide to start a planning business (and there's no shame in that, by the way!). We've just spent years perfecting our craft in various corporate and social event settings, and we have the battle scars to prove it. We've worked with all kinds of people from all walks of life. We've mastered the traditions, we value the rituals, and we're always down to learn more.
Some of our party tricks include: knowing the exact dimensions of a table linen just by looking at it, hearing a Horah start from seven states away, and being able to produce the most obscure items on demand from our tool kits (boob tape, anyone?).
Our bust-our-butt mentality.
Nothing is out of our scope of work, especially on event day. There is always going to be a problem and we are always going to fix it (and hopefully you won't even know!). Combine this with our skillset and all-around good vibes, and you'll be able to rest easy on event day knowing we've got your back.

We believe in authenticity, hard work, and the power of relationships. We provide a professional, buttoned-up and efficient planning experience, but we still love to have fun with our clients and each other. You'll definitely catch us dancing in the corner of your reception.

Spring - Summer you can catch me in a black t-shirt and denim in some form. Fall - Winter is layered, comfy hoodies, and probably something leather.
As a Kid I Wanted To Be
An elephant trainer. I have no explanation for it.
On My Event-Free Weekends
I'm most likely annoying my adorable husband and kids to do things with me, or at an Orangetheory class...regardless I will definitely end up at the diner.
Favorite Food
Wings. Pizza. Tacos. Burgers. Or sandwiches. I love sandwiches. My friends call me "deli chick". I wear it as a badge of honor.
Wardrobe Staples
Over-sized everything. Tees, sweaters, blazers, wedding gowns. You name it. I place comfort over everything and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
As a Kid I Wanted To Be
A flight attendant or a Rockette.
On My Event-Free Weekends
You can find me binge-watching crime docs. On the yoga mat. Taking day trips with my husband and fur-son, Goose, or cozied up to the bar with friends.
