Vendor Research and Selection

Well-Dressed Events helps you find all of your vendors in our full-service wedding planning package while our partial planning package includes up to three additional vendor referrals, which are usually in the categories of transportation, beauty, decor and finer details.
Good vendors can truly make the day. That’s why we strongly encourage you to leverage a wedding planner’s expertise early on to assist with your vendor search. Well-Dressed Events takes the time to sit down and understand what’s important to you. For example, if you want a photographer who shoots more candids and is not super invasive with their shooting style, we’ll be able to point you in the right direction immediately! We’re here to help you with the details that you can’t find from a glance at a website.
Budget Management
Your wedding planner helps you manage your budget for your wedding day. They will work with you to allocate your budget to the various vendor categories and guide you toward the right vendors that fit that budget. They will also keep you on track with the details of the budget, such as vendor contracts and payments. This is included in both our full-service wedding planning and coordination package. Again, since we do this day in and day out, we can quickly give you accurate ranges for vendors to help you make informed decisions on where you want to spend your money.
Timeline Creation
Another task your wedding planner helps with is creating a detailed timeline for your wedding day. This is a CRUCIAL step. Not only for your vendors but also for your guests, bridal party and you! Timelines will cover all of the details for the day including hair and makeup timing, transportation and photography, and flow of the ceremony and reception.
